When one of the founders brother Craig passed away on the streets due to mental health and substance addictions she knew it was time to do something... They set up Coffee 4 Craig and and as a result there is more awareness, more people off the streets every week and has given scores of regular volunteers opportunities to feed hundreds every weekend.
Coffee4Craig has grown from strength to strength and the demand for school talks, business appearances to raise awareness and followers on the social media sites has really blown us all away. We now operate 3 static street kitchens in Manchester and 1 weekly welfare walk, supported by over 25 volunteers.
We have made links and now support another 8+ projects, charities and we have been able to support vulnerable people to move on, feel accepted and offer a voice to the unheard. We have created bridges in the community between children with autism, men released from prison without hope and mainstream school children have heard stories from domestic abuse victims… But we are proudest of the individuals that now volunteer for us as their way to support back.
When possible and appropriate according to each situation, we will aim to
Treat everyone we meet with respect
Work to stop the cycle of rough sleeping
Provide life’s basic essentials that enable individuals to engage
Provide support to attend appointments
Provide information and referrals to attend other services
Support existing services
We work tirelessly to support the homeless and rough sleepers but we can only continue with the generosity of members of the public, please support us so we can continue to support those in our community who have lost their way, just like Craig.
What's next ?
We want to continue bridging gaps, supporting individuals and assisting them to find their voice so they can regain their confidence. We will continue working one to one with people so they feel valued, but we can only do this with your help. Our next aim is to be able to fund the £50 deposit needed to acquire accommodation.
This money can be the difference between sleeping rough and having a home, maybe you are willing to sponsor someone ?

We constantly collect clothing, food, snacks and are actively raising funds. We have local drop off points and can collect locally, contact us for more details.
